The Centurion was the primary British main battle tank for the post World War 2 period seeing nearly 50 years service and served in more war’s than any other Western Tank!
Manufacturing began in late 1945 although this was too late to take part in any WW2 offensive, this aside it was expected that the design could withstand a hit from the German 88mm gun!
The design was highly successful benefiting from many upgrades over the decades as such there are still some variants in use today!

The Mk 13 Centurion is one of the top vehicle on the list to be restored! However this is a running example and just needs a little TLC. Purchased from a private collector 2011, it has already had it’s 2 minutes of fame since being at Armourgeddon having appearing in the most recent marketing campaign fro Mereway Kitchens.
