Three new pieces of hand-held ammunition have arrived ready for the new museum opening here at Armourgeddon this week; a replica Pattern 1857 Enfield rifle, a K98 German bayonet and an 1854 pattern Infantry Officer's sword. Bofors guns were deployed by most of the western Allies as well as Axis powers during WWII with a number still in service, seeing action as late as the Gulf War. We have taken delivery of our own Bofors gun this week. Read on for a potted history of this influential gun soon to be seen in the Armourgeddon Museum.
